Who doesn’t want to be part of a cruise at least once in their lives? The open sea, the beating sun, different of people to interact with and a lavish list of food to choose from, this is the life! And at Harmony of the Seas, you can enjoy that and a whole lot more!
The ship is the largest in the world, with 1,188 feet long deck weighing a mammoth 226,000 tons. This is certainly a jewel in the crown of its parent company, Royal Carribean ocean liner, and just beats its predecessor, Oasis of the Seas in its size. The massive cruise can hold over 8,000 people at a time, and the tickets are priced from $1,000 to $7,000.
The cruise looks more like a floating Mall of America, and as described by photographer Alberto Bernasconi, “It gives you the sense of traveling without doing it.”
The sheer luxury of the grand ship can be judged by the fact that it even entails a 3-D movie theater, a casino, and “The Ultimate Abyss” zip slide that falls off a 10-story height!
There are also many options for recreational activities, such as a rock-climbing wall, a sports court, and a 0.33-mile running track around the cruise.
For more “cultured” people, they have the option to feast their eyes on a production of Grease or even a Victorian melodrama performed on an ice rink.
And how can the food be forgotten! It is a true paradise for the foodies, with the ship entailing 13 restaurants along with a robot bar. The eateries range from fresh “farm-to-ship” dining to the extravagant ones themed on “sun, sea, ice, earth, fire and dreams” to The Boardwalk Hot Dog House for a good ol’ hot dog!
The Harmony docks with many international ports like Marseilles, France and Naples, Italy for a couple of hours and floats in the magnificent Madetterian sea.
“It’s so stable, and so big, that you don’t realize you’re on a boat.No matter where you are in the world, you’re really somewhere else.”
I think I have found my next vacations spot just now!
