Friday night and you get a much anticipated iOS 11 leaked online – is there a better way to start your weekend? The Golden Master build of iOS 11 spread like wildfire on Reddit, and apparently, it is revealed a lot about the upcoming iPhone series. Apple has also started teasing about their latest line of products for the September 12th event, and it looks like they are going to skip the 7S line entirely and start with iPhone 8.

The lineup includes – drumroll – iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and, surprise, surprise, iPhone X!

According to 9to5Mac, who claim to have received the leaked software from another source, the latest upgrade promises exciting new features, the first of which is the new portrait lighting mode supporting

“Contour Light, Natural Light, Stage Light, Stage Light Mono, and Studio Light.”

This aims to enhance the camera flash to provide better lighting scenarios for the enthusiasts. Besides this, Apple will also provide higher resolution video option going as far as 1080p HD at 240 fps.

Apple’s Touch ID security is anticipated to be replaced with Face ID, allowing users to unlock their phones by just looking at the camera. 9to5Mac has even posted a tutorial video for the new software.

And brace yourself for a whole new world of 3D-generated emojis which will tie up with facial tracking software to create customized characters.

Other hardware bump up include the addition of the True Tone Display in the OLED iPhone X. True Tone was initially introduced with the 9.7-inch iPad last year and provides the ability to adjust the white balance of the display automatically, making your reading experience even better.

But the greatest shock would the murdur of the iconic Home button in the iPhoneX, with the power button getting new functionalities like summoning Siri and calling up Apple Pay cards.

The pictures of the Home button-free display revealed a multifunctional space at the bottom.

The leak also contained the first public image of the new LTE Apple Watch Series 3, which seems to have cellular capacity as well.

The Verge speculates that iPhoneX will cost around $1,000 and might even be delayed due to supply shortages.
